Lodi Jackson received her Master's Degree from Chapman University in 1997. She is a faculty member in the area of Special Education at Chapman University where she teaches Assessment and IEP Development, Collaboration for Inclusive Schooling and Advanced Assessment and Instructional Strategies for Persons with Mild/Moderate Disabilities, and has served as a student teaching Supervisor.
Ms. Jackson has worked in with children in private and public schools in California for over 13 years, teaching preschool through fifth-grade students in general education and special education. She holds a multiple subject credential, a special education credential, a resource certificate, and an administrative credential.
Serving as the Coordinator of Student Support Services at the district level, Ms. Jackson gained a strong background in SpecialEducation Law and learned how thespecial education process could work effectively for students, schools, and parents. Kate Perry received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1999. In addition, she serves as a clinical supervisor for students in the School Psychology program who are doing field placements in public schools.

Heather is currently a Board of Behavioral Sciences Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and holds her Professional Clear Pupil Personnel Services Credential with specialization in school counseling.
Heather received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Child Development at St. Marys College in 1997. She continued at St. Marys College in the Graduate program and received her Masters degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy and Pupil Personnel Service Credential (school counseling credential) in 2000.
For over 16 years, Heather has benefited tremendously from working with children of all ages in a variety of settings. She has over seven years of experience in the public school setting, where she provided individual and group counseling, developed programs for students with social and emotional needs, consulted with parents and teachers, and taught parenting classes. She has worked at both the elementary and middle school levels, providing assistance to general and special education programs. Heather is currently working in private practice at the Monarch Counseling Center in Livermore where she works with individuals, couples, children, teens, and families.
Heather strongly believes that counseling within the school environment can be a great way to assist in addressing childrens social, emotional and academic needs.

Janice has been a speech language pathologist since 1986. She attended Indiana University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing and a Master of Science degree from University of Redlands in Communicative Disorders. She has been a member of both the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and the California Speech and Hearing Association since 1986. She has received the Award for Continuing Education from ASHA.
Janice has worked extensively with children ages preschool through middle school evaluating and providing intervention in the public schools as well as working privately. Her work has been with children who have had a variety of disabilities including articulation/phonological disorders, language disorders, stuttering, apraxia and social-pragmatic language disorders. Her experience also includes working as a special education teacher for students who have disabilities in the area of communication. She enjoys working with families so they can better understand their childrens disorder and facilitate the carryover of their childrens new skills into the home and other settings.

Nancy McGhee, OTR/L received her Occupational Therapy degree from New York University and has been a practicing pediatric occupational therapist since 1978. She has worked with infants through adolescents with a variety of disabilities and challenges. Most recently Nancy has specialized in working with children with sensory integration dysfunction, sensory processing disorders, visual -perceptual and perceptual-motor issues, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, handwriting disorders and more. Nancy is trained in administering the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT), Therapeutic Listening, the Alert Program and the Perceptual Enrichment Program.
Currently Nancy works in the public schools and also maintains a private practice. She enjoys working in a team environment that takes all aspects of a child into account. Nancy is strongly committed to a family-centered approach, believing that when parents understand the reasons behind a child's struggle and the rationale of therapeutic approaches, the entire family benefits.
